You can get a good man down but you cannot keep him down!
The month of March found me all over the country, glory to God!
I was able to start the month out with a ride to Emanuel Church Celebrate Recovery in Huntingtown Maryland. Due to tornado weather, high winds and rain, the power was out to much of the city but Emanuel Church power stayed on. Another CR in the area shut down due to no power and they joined us because of it. It turned out to be an amazing night and I was also able to Celebrate my 11th sobriety anniversary!
The following week it was a flight to Seattle, Washington for the CR Training Conference. My first night I was picked up, driven through 10’ of snow in the Snoqualmie Mountain Pass, then on to Faith Community Church CR where I was able to share what God’s done in my life with my Forever Family in Quincy, Washington. The CR Conference was amazing and even met a gentleman who had a private multi million dollar motorcycle museum, and yes, I got a tour!
After a flight back to NC I jumped on the bike and headed to Boiling Springs, SC to share at the View Church Celebrate Recovery for their 1 Year Anniversary! Then on to Black Mountain, NC where I was blessed to share my story at the Mountain View Church Celebrate Recovery. Now for a quick ride home!
After only 1 day at the house I boarded a plane for W Monroe, Louisiana. My brother in Christ, Robert Warren blessed my socks off by loaning me a 2016 Harley Davidson Street Glide to ride while I was in town. I was blessed to spend a day on the road, about 400 miles, hanging out, fellowshipping, and sharing hope before joining members from the Christian Motorcyclist Association, Hell Fighters Motorcycle Ministry, and my Broken Chains family for a ride to Unity Baptist Celebrate Recovery where I was able to shout about what God’s done in my life to hundreds! It was a great trip and a great way to end the month of March!
February 4th 2018
Well 2018 is off to a great start. I started off the year by having some carpel tunnel surgery on my right hand January 5th. I had to park the motorcycle for a couple weeks while my hand healed. In the meantime I flew to several events in January. To Austin, Texas for the AllTogether Rally, Detroit, Michigan for the the Connection Church 6 Year CR Anniversary Celebration, and to San Francisco for the first CR Training Conference of 2018.
Now, my hands healed up and I'm ready to ride for Christ's sake. Planes are great when you're in a hurry however there's no better way to travel than with two hands on the handlebars, feet on the pegs, and the wind in your face. I'll head out on Sunday, Feb 4th for a two week trip that will take me through southern Georgia, down the gulf side of Florida, on to the southern most CR in the country, Islamorada, Florida, then back up the Atlantic side of the state before heading home.
I'll have the opportunity to share my story at 6 Celebrate Recovery Ministries along the way as well as every gas station, hotel, restaurant, and motorcycle dealership I pull in to. He pulled me out of the ditch and I can't shut up about it. There's a hurting world out there and I want everyone to know that hope is real, healing is available, and change is possible!

The First Ever CR AllTogether Rally;
Wow, what a day!
I was honored to emcee this event that was a game changer for me and so many others. As I listened to testimonies, poetry, worship, and praise I was broken! Yes, God broke me down right there. We laughed and learned with the Skit Guys, we were inspired by Hoseanna Poetry, we were shattered by Plumb, we were touched by Zach Williams, and we were amazed by Matthew West. We were blessed by the CR National Team sharing their heart, their wisdom, and their experience, strength, and hope in ways that I'd not heard any of it before. One of the most amazing days of my life! I watched hundreds come down the aisles to pick up blue chips and pray. Those new to CR and those, just like me, who were connected to CR for years but leaving different than when they came.
This was the first AllTogether Rally but the next one is already being planned for the fall of this year. I believe this is much like a modern day Billy Graham Revival. These will take place for years to come, all over the country. Reaching the masses with a message of hope, healing, and grace. I was more than honored to have been a small part in the very first one!
